All Dolled Up: Spring Beauty Must-Haves!

Spring cleaning {for me} as never truly been about rolling up my sleeves to dust around the house. Classically, I’ve focused my Spring cleaning efforts in two areas: Facebook and makeup. This is the perfect time of year to toss out that eyeshadow you’ve been using for three years (and a few “friends” on Facebook while you’re at it!). Today, isn’t about Facebook – it’s about getting all dolled up and splurging on this year’s Spring makeup must-haves that will have your friends dying to know what products you use!

The Naked Palette: Whether it was on Pinterest or The Today Show, I’m sure you’ve heard about this amazing product at some point in time. There are three different color palette to choose from {2 is my personal favorite} and you can’t go wrong with any of them. These lovely 12 eyeshadow color combos will last you until July {at least!}. If you don’t take anything away from this post – just go buy this product!

Three More Inches: Did you know that your hair grows that slowest in the colder months? If you’re a Virginia girl like myself, then you can sympathize in the long overdo Spring weather we are finally receiving! Michael Van Clarke’s Three More Inches is the perfect product for keeping your hair stronger and healthier, especially in preparation for the Summer heat! I love it, you’ll love it – what’s not to love?

Hourglass Ambient Lighting PowderI’m going to sound like my mother right now, but sometimes {especially Spring} the “natural” look works! Because it’s more versatile, purchase the Ethereal Light color to get more bang for your buck. This powder is not only great to highlight your T-zone, but is ideal for contouring!! Click here for some great contouring tips.

YSL Touche Éclat: This product needs to be part of your staple makeup must-haves. Touche Éclat is probably the one product out of this list that I would say you should use year round! Whether you use it in your contouring regime or simply as an under eye-concealer this product works wonders! Remember, if you are going to use it for contouring go a shade or two lighter; for under eye, make sure it matches your skin color.

NARS Blush: Oh, my beloved NARS – I adore everything about your product line! In all actuality, their Gaiety – Bright Candy Pink Blush is the perfect addition to your Spring makeup. Sure, it’s a little bold, but so are Spring colors. Need a cost justification? You’re truly not going to use this all the time so this will last you far into the Summer months.

Enjoy getting all dolled up 🙂
